“We’ve been commissioned to re-envision Edward Durrell Stone’s iconic US Embassy in New Delhi. We wanted to use it as an opportunity not to talk about America but really to talk about the rich cultural history of India and the history of architecture and gardens that is so unique to that part of India. So its an opportunity to talk a little more broadly about the story, obviously there are diplomatic stories that need to be told but also to tell the story of this fantastic culture that is India.”
