Gabriel Orozco:

“I’ve always had a fascination with Japan and it has been important in my work. I had an exhibition in Japan so I decided to do the work in Tokyo. One part of the show are these poles of wood that I found in a very nice shop in the center of Tokyo, which is called Tokyu Hands. You can find all kinds of tools and wood pieces there and I got all the bars and poles for my show there.”
