“My experience at the Savoy Theater was great, I was really happy with my stay there. I loved working with Thea Sharrock, who was the director of the show I was in, and with Richard Griffiths. He was amazing to me. I hadn’t been on the stage in 40 years until The Sunshine Boys came along, and Thea and Richard were like my guides and helped me get back into the swing of things. London theaters have got a big reputation, so I wanted to do right. In the end, I was very happy with it and I come back to the Savoy quite a bit.”
