“I’ve seen a lot of great shows at a very small record store called the Mengi in Iceland. It's been going for about three or four years now. It’s run by Skúli Sverrisson — he actually plays on the soundtrack I did for Sicario, he plays the bass guitar. He runs this really amazing small venue which is dedicated to experimental music, and there’s about four shows a week with a very challenging program. It’s always something interesting going on there. It’s almost like an experimental lab for music in Iceland. I’ve seen some really amazing shows there in the past few years.”
