“Ken’s Artisan Bakery in Portland is an open kitchen so when people are waiting in line at the counter, they can see my bread bakers and they can see the pastry team working, it’s all right in front of them. It’s a bakery and a café and so it’s designed as a place for people to enjoy and come with friends and have conversations and read books and write poetry.”
