“I went to the NASA Center in Florida while researching the Apollo VXIII project. The whole space is great but it is really amazing because you get to see all the launch sites on an Air Force base. All the early launches have been on the Air Force side, which you have to get special permission to visit. It was like going to Star City in Moscow. It's not part of the main a museum or anything, nobody goes there — you need special permission. It’s all crumbling concrete and bunkers, really amazing.”
