Daniel Libeskind:
“It was my fate that I started with the Jewish Museum, that was my first project. I never built anything before that, not even a small building. I always wanted to build and I was lucky to be able to start my architectural life with that space. I didn’t want to repeat the windows I’ve seen, I didn’t want to repeat the spaces I’ve seen, I wanted to create something that addressed this program which was never seen before. And in a way that is the ambition for every building.”
