“I'm from a small city but there was one store, Jeurissen, that had everything. Raf Simons, Margiela, and me, we’re all from that same area of Belgium. I heard that Raf would take the bus and drive to that store, just to look in the vitrine. That was the only connection to the fashion world. I I think they even carried Yohji Yamamoto. I don’t think I would find my selection of clothes there today, they’re a little bit more conservative but they carry amazing brands! But it’s one of the few high-end boutiques in Hasselt.”
